A score out of 100 to understand a security.
Six factors make up the Polaris framework: valuation, profitability, growth, dividend, momentum and technical. They are weighted by analysis profile. See the overall score, each factor’s breakdown and any missing data.
- ✓Scoring scales and peer comparisons, clearly explained
- ✓One method, adapted to each security’s characteristics
- ✓Descriptive, never a recommendation to buy or sell

Stock analysis tools give you numbers.
Not a reading.
Built for trading floors. Out of reach for almost every individual investor.
Data and indicators, at every price. Even the most expensive plan does not contain a single line of analysis: you interpret everything yourself.
Rarely clear about their method, and paid on commission.
What is missing is a tool for the self-directed investor who wants to understand what they own, without paying for a terminal.
One page per stock.
Technical, fundamental and macro.
Macro context first
Every analysis accounts for policy rates, inflation, the yield curve and currencies. A stock is read in its market, not in isolation.
- ·Federal Reserve (FRED) for US rates
- ·Bank of Canada (Valet) for Canadian rates
- ·CoinGecko for cryptocurrencies
A written, sourced analysis
Polaris reads quarterly results, recent news and the sector context, then writes an analysis you can challenge point by point. Every figure quoted comes from a named source.
- ·Anthropic models
- ·Quarterly results built in
- ·News built into every analysis
Built in Quebec
Canadian sources, the Toronto Stock Exchange treated like the NYSE and NASDAQ, interface and analyses in French. The English version is written, not translated.
- ·Bank of Canada as a primary source
- ·TSX, NYSE and NASDAQ tickers
- ·French and English
What a page shows.
Price, indicators, score and analysis.
For every stock, ETF or cryptocurrency: an overall score, a profile with its conviction level, and a Polaris analysis that accounts for the latest quarterly results and the macro backdrop.
- ✓Overall score from 0 to 100
- ✓Stock profile, with a conviction level
- ✓Analysis written from the latest results
- ✓Clickable indicators, each one explained
- ✓The real quarterly results, commented

What people ask us
most often.
Is the Polaris analysis reliable?
Polaris runs on Anthropic models. The model receives the security’s financial data (Twelve Data, Financial Modeling Prep), the computed technical indicators, recent news, quarterly results and the macro backdrop (FRED, Bank of Canada). It does not guess: it summarizes real data. It is not investment advice. It is a thinking aid, not a replacement for your own judgment.
Do you give financial advice?
No. Polaris is an analysis and education tool. We are neither a broker nor a registered investment adviser. For recommendations that fit your situation, consult an adviser licensed by your securities regulator (in Quebec, the AMF).
Why French first?
Because you think through a strategy better in your own language. And because Canadian sources, the Bank of Canada first among them, are ignored by most American tools. Polaris is built in Quebec, French first, and the English is written, not translated.
Where does the data come from?
Twelve Data (stock, ETF, forex and crypto quotes), Financial Modeling Prep (fundamentals, indices, and the exchanges outside Twelve Data’s coverage, the TSX among them), Polygon.io (news feed and fallback quotes), Anthropic (analysis), the Federal Reserve through the FRED API (US rates, inflation), Bank of Canada Valet (policy rate, Canadian rates, CPI), CoinGecko (crypto), and several RSS feeds (Fed, Bank of Canada, CNBC, La Presse, Radio-Canada). Every source is institutional or established. Freshness varies by source and exchange: each quote shows its own status, live, delayed or at close, and we never claim “live” without proof.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Any paid subscription can be cancelled from your Account page, no justification and no phone call. We may offer you a deal to stay. One click declines it. You keep access until the end of the paid period, then you return to the free plan.
Does it work with my broker (Questrade, Disnat, Wealthsimple)?
Polaris places no orders with your broker and holds no assets. You read the analysis here, then act in your usual brokerage account. Most of our users are with Questrade, Disnat, Wealthsimple or IBKR.
Do you cover Canadian stocks?
Yes. The Toronto Stock Exchange is treated like the NYSE and NASDAQ. You will find the big banks (RY, TD, BNS), energy (ENB, CNQ, SU), tech (SHOP, CSU), REITs (REI, CAR) and ETFs (XIU, XEQT, VEQT), with their analyses in both languages.
Is my data private?
Yes. Authentication and the database are at Supabase (encrypted), payments at Stripe (PCI compliant). We do not sell or pass on your personal data for advertising. Your watchlist and your analyses are yours. You can export or delete your account at any time.
